Kirk Voss, LMFT
Kirk is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. Since 2006, he has worked with individuals, couples, and families to heal and address a variety of emotional and relational issues. He received his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and his Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies. Kirk has worked as a therapist in both inpatient treatment and outpatient community therapy clinics in multiple states. He works with clients from all backgrounds and religions.
Kirk believes that what often brings clients to therapy is their loss of balance – clients either desire to attain a personal balance and positive well-being, or to restore the balance which has been lost. Finding a healthy personal balance can involve improving self-care, improving self-worth, clearing the “clutter” of negative thinking, addressing past and present emotional injuries, connecting with oneself, deepening and healing close relationships, and addressing stress, anxiety, and depression.
Kirk loves fly-fishing, gardening, writing, public speaking, and most especially, spending time with his family. He is fluent in English and Portuguese.
“We give our lives, even an hour at a time, to what we believe, what we value, and to whom we love.”
– Bruce C. Hafen
