Kirk Voss Therapy & Consulting, LLC accepts no liability for, nor does it endorse in any way, any therapeutic practice or consultation service provided by the contracted Therapists and Consultants which is deemed unhelpful, unreliable, or inaccurate. If a client experiences misconduct from a Kirk Voss Therapy & Consulting, LLC Therapist or Consultant, it is the responsibility of the client to notify Kirk Voss Therapy & Consulting, LLC immediately (within 24 hours of the incident).
The Therapists and Consultants, when conducting online live video sessions, will always be using high-speed internet signal to broadcast from their own computer, but they cannot be held liable for poor internet signal strength on the part of the client, or inclement weather which may alter internet video strength, or cessation of a session due to a client’s low battery in their electronic device. If, at any point during your session, the video signal becomes pixelated, delayed, frozen, or ceases to broadcast an image, the session will be immediately resumed through the secure audio conference call function provided on the video teleconferencing platform. No refunds will be provided if the session is shifted to audio format due to poor video signal quality or malfunctioning video image delivery, and as a client, you accept the audio format as a reasonable alternative to the video teleconferencing format when the video signal is disrupted in any way.
Consulting & Therapy Services:
Due to current regulations which limit the practice of “therapy” across state lines, Kirk Voss Therapy & Consulting, LLC Consultants do not provide “therapy,” in that they do not diagnose, provide clinical treatment plans, address suicidal or life-threatening situations, fulfill court-ordered treatment courses, make specific therapeutic claims, or bill their services with any health insurances. Kirk Voss Therapy & Consulting, LLC Consultants strictly comply with these and other state and federal regulations. Kirk Voss Therapy & Consulting, LLC Consultants are trained professionals who offer life guidance and empathetic emotional & relational support, and who also have the education and skills to direct you to the best literature and supportive resources you need to heal, from the privacy of your phone, tablet, or computer.

Through your Kirk Voss Therapy & Consulting, LLC Therapist, you will receive customized diagnoses and treatment care to face challenges and heal your most important relationships. Kirk Voss Therapy & Consulting, LLC Therapy services are currently offered in certain states, as specified by the state licensure of each respective individual therapist.

Kirk Voss Therapy & Consulting, LLC provides no guarantee or warranty for a client’s therapeutic outcome or individual gain from the session services offered. Kirk Voss Therapy & Consulting, LLC Therapists and Consultants are independent contractors and operate on their own accord, with only a contracted use of the secured video portal as made available through Kirk Voss Therapy & Consulting, LLC. Payments made by clients for Therapy and Consultation sessions are distributed to the Therapists and Consultants, and fees for use of the video platform are retained by Kirk Voss Therapy & Consulting, LLC. No therapeutic claims should be made by the Therapist or Consultant. No guarantee or warranty for services should be implied or inferred. Once started, a session cannot be rescheduled or reassigned. However, a client may schedule with a different Therapist or Consultant for a follow-up visit. If a client has purchased a package of sessions, the client may schedule or reschedule sessions with a different Therapist or Consultant if the client does so with at least 24 hours advance notice.
Intellectual Property Rights
All copyrights, trademarks, logos, pictures, patents, and other intellectual property rights in and on our website and all content and software located on the site shall remain the sole property of Kirk Voss Therapy & Consulting, LLC or its licensors. Late Cancellation Policy
We ask that each client notify us, through the calendar scheduling system, of a cancellation at least 24 hours prior to their appointment time. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be not be issued a refund for the money already paid at time of scheduling.
Insurance Coverage
Kirk Voss Therapy & Consulting, LLC is a fee-for-service company and payment is always due at the time of the scheduling of an appointment (credit and debit cards are accepted, as well as HSA and FSA cards in the case of Therapy. It is the responsibility of the client to know their HSA and FSA account limitations, and monies expended in these forms will not be refunded if used inappropriately or outside of their designated use). Kirk Voss Therapy & Consulting, LLC does not submit claims or paperwork to insurance companies; however, if a client has insurance with mental health benefits, they can, at their own discretion, fill out their insurance’s forms to apply for possible out-of-network coverage after the fact. We do accept third-party payments from ecclesiastical leaders and family members of clients. Contact us for further details.
A Special Note About Persons Who Qualify for Medicare
Clients who are 65 years of age or over, who are then eligible for Medicare coverage, even if they do not yet have Medicare, MUST NOT be seen by Kirk Voss Therapy & Consulting Therapists. Consultation MAY be provided to these 65+ individuals, as Consultation does not fall under any licensed professional oversight, and as it does not qualify for insurance coverage. Medicare is very sensitive to healthcare and official “therapy” being provided to anyone who is covered by, or who could be eligible to be covered, by virtue of their age, under the Medicare umbrella for health services. Kirk Voss Therapy & Consulting is NOT an approved Medicare provider, and if it comes to the attention of the Therapist that a client is 65+, then ONLY Consultation may be provided. At Kirk Voss Therapy & Consulting, the same rules apply for any client who, regardless of their age, is determined to currently have Medicaid coverage.
Additional Notices
The Therapists and Consultants do not offer court letters for divorce proceedings or custody issues. We are eager to work with most areas of personal mental health issues, relationship needs, and couple or family concerns. There may be some issues which will be best served by colleagues and professionals who specialize in particular areas. In those certain circumstances, we may offer a referral to ensure the best care for the client.
As a client of Kirk Voss Therapy & Consulting, LLC, you acknowledge that Consulting services are equivalent in scope and practice to “Life Coaching,” as it is commonly termed, for the guidance and life suggestions provided outside the scope of “therapy.” The Kirk Voss Therapy & Consulting, LLC Consultant’s liability can be acknowledged and described as “life coaching,” as it is the same service in every legal and professional respect.
Revisions
Kirk Voss Therapy & Consulting, LLC reserves the right to change these terms from time to time, and you are encouraged to check these terms regularly. These terms will be accessible on our website for your review. Your continued use of our website will be deemed as acknowledgment and acceptance of the updated or amended terms.
